Our Programs

At Mareas, each of our students receives an educational experience that is as unique as they are.



As a bilingual international school in Playa Samara,Guanacaste, Costa Rica, we at Mareas work very hard to make sure that each child gets an education that is consistent with North American quality standards, while being very personalized for their individual needs. Our non-traditional educational approach is based on the concepts of community and caring, and all of our classes are delivered by  passionate professional teachers. 

We believe that every child has different, unique gifts that should be explored and developed. We also strive to integrate each student into both the school community as well as the local community of Playa Samara, in Guanacaste, Costa Rica and the world at large. We strive to create a caring community of learners of all ages, who value each other for their unique capabilities and interests.
